Millrace Finance Partners was started in 2026 to help small and mid-sized US companies and nonprofits turn financial information into better decisions. The goal is organized accounting and a repeatable process that helps leaders decide what to fund, when to hire and how much cash to commit.
What we are, and are not
We are an outsourced accounting and fractional controller firm. The accounting service starts from $2,000 a month, the fractional controller from $7,000 a month, and advising and planning work is scoped per project. The discovery call is free, and there is no hourly billing.
Millrace Finance Partners is an independent firm. It is not affiliated with any other company that uses the Millrace name, and it is not an investment adviser.
We are not a CPA firm, and the services we sell do not require a state licence. We do not sign or file tax returns: for a nonprofit’s Form 990, we prepare the financial information and schedules your tax preparer needs. We never hold signing authority on your accounts or custody of your funds.
We are a new firm with no clients to show yet, so there is no wall of client logos on this site and no case studies. What we publish instead is what you can check before you sign: the fees, the close calendar we work to and the guarantee behind it.
